High-Yield and Crisis-Resistant – the Current CFB Funds

The closed-end funds of CFB invest in a wide range of economic assets. The fund assets currently offered include real estate both in Germany and in the rest of Europe, in North America and Asia, as well as container vessels of the latest generation.

Other historical or planned investment areas include aviation, media, equipment and operator funds as well as funds for renewable energy.

Commerz Real Fonds Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH

The role of CFB within the Commerz Real group of companies is that of a specialist for the masterminding, selling, and managing of closed-end funds. Its consistent networking of extensive resources and its pooled investment know-how provides Commerz Real Group with the perfect basis for designing high-quality, market-oriented fund options.

Today, with more than 25 years of experience, 179 funds realised (as at 31 December 2011), and an investment volume of more than 13.5 billion euros, CFB ranks among Germany’s leading fund initiators. In addition to public funds aimed at a wide-spread clientele, CFB offers private placements and tailored concepts for high-net-worth individuals with unique investment requirements.

CFB has assigned around 70 staff solely to the fund business, including investor management. They are supported by the comprehensive resources of Commerz Real in the areas property acquisition, taxes, legal, real property law, construction management, accounting, and commercial management.

The CFB product spectrum evolved from leasing funds to infrastructure operator concepts, and from media funds to the present focal points of closed-end real estate funds inside and outside Germany, ship funds, as well as renewable energy funds, specifically solar parks inside and outside Germany.

Due to the decreasing fiscal relevance, and the associated effort required by sometimes incalculable fiscal parameters, we decided years ago to concentrate our investment policy and product foci consistently on yield-oriented investment products. We have increasingly offered products that take advantage of market opportunities in various asset classes while featuring safety-oriented risk/reward profiles that match our customers’ investment needs.

More than 140,000 Participations

Last year, we were able to report more than 140,000 participations. So far, more than 71,000 investors committed approximately 5.5 billion euros worth of equity in CFB funds. The relation between the figures suggest that many of our customers have subscribed many times over.

We would like to take the opportunity to say Thank You for the faith vested in us over the years!
