Commerz Real: Scope Investment Award for Solar Funds

Commerz Real has just been awarded the Scope Investment Award 2011 in the “Closed-End Energy Funds” category for having continued its CFB Solar Funds launches with its fourth investment fund of this type (CFB Fund 179 “Solar-Deutschlandportfolio IV”).

The Scope Jury justified its choice by citing an initial three criteria that define a sound investment proposition in the energy segment:

“Advanced security of investment through specific investment assets, renowned partners, and attractive yield prospects.”

Commerz Real, the jury added, has shown that solar investments in Germany are able to meet all three criteria, even in the current market environment.

“On top of that, the initiator set new standards on Germany’s solar market in terms of output installed,”

This year’s Scope Investment Awards were presented during the awards ceremony in a festive setting at Humboldt Carré at Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin. By its own definition, the Scope rating agency uses the award to honour companies that have distinguished themselves – in addition to the currently important factors like trust, orientation, safety and entrepreneurship – in terms of transparency, continuity, power of innovation, and the strategic vision of their management.

It is the second time that Commerz Real won the Scope Investment Award in the Energy Funds category, having already been cited last year as Germany’s best issuance house for its CFB Fund 177 “Solar-Deutschlandportfolio III.”
